With the order of 27 April 2022, no. 13207 the Court of Cassation returns to deal with collective dismissal procedures within business groups. In particular, the Court reiterates the requirements for the judicial verification of the existence of a single center for the attribution of work performance and establishes the principle according to which, within a group of companies with these characteristics, the choice of workers to dismissing in the context of a collective dismissal procedure must not be limited to the single company, but must be extended to the entire range of employees of the companies that are part of the “group”.
